A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Care Assistant to join the team of an Ipswich based care home, who are dedicated to the provision of exceptional care in warm and welcoming environments. As a company they provide relationship-centred care, which means building a relationship with every resident, listening to their stories, learning all about their lives, to create a picture of the whole person. Its about giving residents the choice to live their lives the way they really want to. In return you will receive a salary of 7.75 per hour plus stakeholder pension.

As a Care Assistant your duties will include:

• Leadership and Management
• Assisting the Registered General Nurses with all aspects of care in the home.
• Assisting with the recruitment and training of the care team ensuring training targets are met and the teams are competent in their roles.
• Assist with care delivery in the home, to ensure continuous assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of residents care.
• Assist with ensuring care plans are regularly audited and that they are appropriate to the residents needs and reflect the care being delivered.
• Ensure that all care give is within the NMC codes of practice
• Health and Safety

The ideal Care Assistant will have the following skills:

• Must have NVQ Level 3 in Care
