Description: Cumbria Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is currently interviewing Registered General Nurse right now, this vacancy will be placed in Northern Ireland. Detailed specification about this vacancy opportunity kindly read the description below. Hospice at Home wish to recruit a Registered Nurse to work 30 hours per week.
The service covers the Carlisle, Eden and North Allerdale localities.The post holder will provide direct nursing care, emotional and psychological suport to individuals with palliative care needs and those at end of life and supporting relatives and carers.
This care is primarily in the patients' home and on occasions in other settings such as Community Hospitals and Residential Homes. The hours cover a 24 hour period which predominately involves working nights although not exhaustively. The Registered Nurse will undertake on going assessment at each visit and report appropriately.
The post holder should have significant post registration experience particularly within the community setting, have a palliative care qualification or willingness to work towards. Enhanced communication skills are essential and the ability to work in isolation and as part of a team. A lease car is available with this post.
