One of their fastest growing divisions focuses on the healthcare sector providing a complete product offering across a full range of consumable products to the NHS, private care homes and hospital groups throughout the UK.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Your brief will be to develop and grow the care home and nursing home business in Northern Ireland. You will take over a recently established territory turning over approximately 600K with some high profile customers. There is enormous potential on the territory and it is serviced from one of the logistic centres based just outside Belfast, one of five in the UK.

You will be selling to care home owners and managers the service of a one stop supply solution. The broad product range includes consumables as well as equipment and it covers all the items used in this environment: infection control, house-keeping, patient care, dining, bedroom and bathroom consumables plus equipment for patient ! monitoring, specialised equipment and furniture.

The ! selling in this sector has traditionally been done on the prices of individual products but our client has the capabilities to sell a one stop service solution. The typical call will involve understanding the business and the people within it, taking time to develop a relationship. You will then sell the service; big company brand, the widest product range for this sector in the UK, a localised service, international buying power and consolidated invoicing.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience of successfully managing a defined territory business.
  • Your background experience could be service sales or capital or consumable and our client is very open to non-healthcare.
  • Demonstrable success in winning and developing new customers
  • An organised structured approach to managing your territory and customers.
  • Commercially astute with an ability and desire to succeed in this role and progress within the business.
  • If your back! ground is clinical rather than sales we are still very interested as there is a requirement for clinical expertise in this role and also to give balance and support to the team.
