Duties:
- Complease benefit applications for clients
- Liaise with local authorities regarding financial assessments
- Conduct interviews with clients to gather information about their benefits needs
- Provide guidance and support to clients regarding their benefits
- liaise with DWP in relation to appeals and assessments for benefits
- Provide guidance and training to the wider team regarding benefits and assessments
Requirements:
- Previous experience in benefits administration is essential
- Strong form filling skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for conducting interviews and liaising with clients
- Familiarity with DWP and local authority processes and procedures
This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively manage benefits applications and financial assessments while providing excellent customer service to our clients. The Benefits Advisor will play a crucial role in ensuring that staff and clients understand their benefits options and receive accurate information.
