An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, innovative nurse to join the Contraception and Sexual Health team at Queens Road Clinic, Barnsley.

The Contraception and Sexual Health team is continually evolving and requires someone who is dynamic, proactive and enthusiastic. This includes working at the main base (Queens Rd Clinic), Barnsley College and at outreach clinics.

Applicants should be a Registered Nurse with ENB 900/901/8103 (The Practice of Family Planning) certificate, or equivale! nt, have extensive experience in a sexual health related environment and be capable of independent practice in the clinical area. Applicants must be willing to undertake training related to service needs / development.

We are particularly interested in receiving applications from people with experience in undertaking STI work including partner notifications.

There is a need to be flexible with regard to hours of work as the postholder will be required to work some evening and weekend sessions. Cover for holidays and sickness of other specialist nurses will also be expected.
