Join our Internal Communications Team as an Intern for the next 6-12 months and kickstart your professional life.


Goals and main Tasks

  • To enthusiastically assist the Corporate Comms team on internal communications across all topics and all internal communications channels
  • Create a clear and compelling copy (that people will be drawn to and can’t help but drop everything and read) for all internal communication channels, for example, Notion, Slack and our internal newsletter
  • Help create stellar visual content and videos for all internal communication channels in cooperation with media and graphic designers
  • Should possess extraordinary creative skills, be up to speed on the latest tech talk and have a winning personality in order to help further develop and enhance internal communications and get the right message across
  • Help organise and implement our exciting internal events (both on and offline)

Your responsibilities:

  • Support the Corporate Communications department in internal communications
  • Help produce relevant internal communication reports where required
  • Be on the pulse and fluent in the dynamic geekspeak of our clever youthful techie type


Main interaction points:

  • Support internal stakeholders on communication issues
  • Act as a friendly and helpful contact person in the Corporate Communications team for HR communications (internal), Facility Management, Group Acceleration, Finance, Legal, IT Security & Data Protection, Group Data, or IT Operations
  • Keenly participate in projects related to internal communications.

Qualifications
  • Degree in media and communication or a comparable diploma in the field of comms, internal comms, change management, employer branding, internal brand management, marketing, advertising or PR
  • An unbridled passion for all things comms and massive enthusiasm for tech and media
  • Must be a compelling communicator with excellent storytelling skills (the type of person at Uni who everyone gathers around for a good chinwag)
  • Must be an outstanding team player
  • Must be super social media savvy and love being up to date with all the latest tech, apps and cool stuff
  • No professional experience required (but if you have worked in a comms/media/advertisement environment before, that would be a mahoosive bonus – especially for a tech start-up)

Languages

  • German native or bilingual (mandatory)
  • English (business fluent, spoken and written)
  • French and Italian are advantageous (even if it’s just to order pastries and pizza at our frequent get-togethers and even more frequent apéros!)

Additional Requirements

  • High level of social competence in daily dealings with internal contacts
  • Outstanding communication skills, obv.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative (and under pressure) and get things done
