Medical Sales Executive

Location: Northern Ireland

Due to ongoing expansion, a superb opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sales Specialist to join their team to cover Northern Ireland and South to Dublin.

SUMMARY OF KEY DUTIES

• Have the ability to organise and plan in advance, regular calls with customers to maintain and develop relationships and reach Performance Targets as agreed by your manager.
• To maintain and understand the performance of competitors products, pricing and markets strategies.
• To have a clear and concise knowledge of the sales process to customers whilst promoting our products.
• To manage your business with a mixed portfolio of products and to determine your target market.
• The ability to maximise sales opportunities and to gain a thorough understanding of customer requirements.
• The ability to maintain customer accounts in a professional and organised manner.
• Maintain and develop an ongoing relationship with both present and new customers that are decision makers in the buying process.
• To follow company policies and procedures as laid out in company handbook.

THE PERSON

Essential

• 3-5 years experience in a sales environment to hospitals and the health service.
• A thorough and detailed knowledge of medical products and their markets.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Demonstrate a successful career to date within a medical sales environment
• Competent in MS Word, Powerpoint, Excel and Outlook.

Preferred

• A Nursing Qualification or a Medical Science Degree
• Experience in Wound care and ICU
• Appreciation and awareness of the local health services and their product adoption process.

SALARY AND BENEFITS

• £36 - £45k depending on experience and qualifications.
• Bonus related to 20% of salary.
• Car, Laptop, Mobile phone and contribution to health insurance.
