Nurse Manager Are you a nurse manager looking a career move or are you a nursing sister or a deputy manager looking for the next step in your career? Purpose of the Job The post holder will provide clinical nursing leadership within the nursing home. This includes: Operational management of the nursing home and its resources. Clinical expertise through actively promoting a culture of education and practice development. Guiding, instructing and monitoring professional nursing staff, student nurses, nursing care assistants and all other ancillary staff employed in the home. Practicing in accordance with NMC codes, statutory requirements and the Nursing Homes Order 2005.

A Home Manager performs the following tasks:

• Implementing HR policies and procedures
• Preparing reports and updates
• Managing budgets
• Recruiting and supervising staff
• Managing patient care
• Ordering supplies and new equipment
• Handling administrative duties
