Description: First Choice Selection Services is at the momment seeking for Chef/Cook right now, this job will be placed in Northern Ireland. First Choice Recruitments Bangor Branch are currently seeking to recruit Chefs/Cooks to help fill in shifts on an Ad-Hoc basis to help fill shifts with our clients within the North Down Area.
Shifts are not guarenteed every week and only as the client demands. In the past these have led to long term temporary employment and permanent employment.

Experience
Experience of running a catering establishment
Experience of menu design, development and costing
Budget experience in menu delivery and portion control
Stock Control, Ordering and care of Stock
Time Management
Completing admin tasks accurately and clearly
Working in a team
Experience in working within a Nursing Home environment is desireable along with strong housekeeping skills.
Qualifications
NVQ or equivalent in cookery.
Food Hygeine certificate
Skills
Innovative and resourceful
Excellent time management ! skills
Organisational Skills
Strong communic! ation skills with a command of english both verbally and in writing. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
All round catering skills demonstrated in work experience

Cheerful and Positive

Flexibility and adaptability
Accountable - It is my responsibility approach
Able to cope under pressure, keep calm & manage changing situations
