We are looking for private site regular giving Marie Curie fundraisers to! join our team in the North West.
This opportunity would be perfect for individuals who can passionately communicate directly with members of the public, inspiring them to become long term supporters of Marie Curie.

We are looking for private site regular giving Marie Curie fundraisers to join our team in the North West.

What we will offer you as a Marie Curie Fundraiser:
- Flexible working hours 10am â€" 2pm or 2pm â€" 6pm (Paid lunch).
- Salary up to £7.97 per hour (including travel time and a contribution towards petrol costs).
- Temporary position to start with a view to go permanent for the right person.
- Opportuni! ty to progress within the charity
- Good verbal communication.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Positive attitude.
- Presentable appearance.
- Self-motivated.
- Basic administration skills.
- Previous knowledge of face to face fundraising and/or sales techniques.
- Demonstrable numeracy and literacy skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Willingness to work some unsociable hours.
Marie Curie is a UK based charity that provides nursing care, without charge, to terminally ill people at home or in hospices.
Marie Curie has 2,000 nurses in the UK and last year they worked for 1,300,000 hours caring for terminally ill patients, including half of all cancer patients who die at home.
They need to raise! £10,000 every hour of every day to carry on with they vital work and care they provide to both patients and their family.
Raising that amount of money is such a huge task, they need the help and support of people, like you, who understand what a vital role these amazing nurses and hospices play.
