Here at the Crown Hotel we offer Inn-style accommodation with 16 Bedrooms, Restaurant and two bars. We have a public bar which features a Pool table, Games machines & Jukebox where we also host Live Music on Friday Nights (resuming shortly) along with Sky & BT Sports so you never miss a match. Free Wifi Available. Located in the town centre of Stornoway. We proudly boast to have the largest Gin collection in the Outer Hebrides along with being the only pub to serve real Ale and have been Cask Marque accredited annually since opening in 2004.
This role can be exciting, challenging , rewarding but most importantly fun and involves the following duties; · Greeting every guest, ensuring their needs are anticipated and delivered whilst making them feel at home. Being a positive and hard-working team player who works well with the wider team across all departments. · Preparing and serving drinks to the highest standard. · Confidently making recommendations to our guests whilst taking orders. · Maximising sales through suggestion and up-selling. -Maintaining stock levels and correct rotation. -Collecting, washing and restocking glasses. -Dealing with payments -Maintaining standards of cleanliness & hygiene in the bar, toilets, entrance and stockroom areas
