Market Leading Occupational Health Provider
(Monday to Thursday 8am to 4pm)
Derry (1 day per week) and N.I. cover as r! equired REF: 1305-18
Our client is a market leading consultancy in their industry of operation. The have a number of prestigious clients on their books at present and have asked us to work in partnership with them to find suitably qualified and experienced Occupational Health Consultants for temporary ongoing contracts throughout Northern Ireland.
Job Description
Duties and areas of responsibility:
Pre-employment medical assessments
Absentee management, collation of data and statistical analysis
Absentee assessment;
Short term
Long term
Home visits
Accident investigation and analysis
Assessment and rehabilitation/redeployment
Facility for liaison with managers, local general practitioners, hospital specialists
Provision of health screening services if required
Provision of emergency treatment services and involvement in emergency planning syste! m
Co-ordinator of health surveillance system (if requ! ired);
Noise
Respiratory
Skin
Work place assessments/ergonomics
Visual screening and display screen equipment.
Involvement in the co-ordination of policies relevant to occupational health
Liaison with Company Occupational Physician on all above services
Co-ordinate health promotion projects as required
Assist in giving evidence in relation to any legal actions taken against the company which involves occupational health issues/personnel
The Person:
The successful applicant will be a registered Nurse with either a Qualification in Occupational Health or significant experience in this area. Strong IT skills and access own transport is essential for this role.
