Our client is looking for a Clinical Lead Nurse needed for a 32 bedroom residential with nursing dementia home. You will be working 40 hours per week on both a! day and night shift.
You will be responsible for the implementation of high standards of nursing care, nursing redesign and quality strategy with nurses and staff to enable the development of a team fit for the purpose in the delivery of quality, effective and responsive service to meet the needs of service users.
Supervise, monitor and evaluate care delivered to service users, checking legal requirements are met, clinical leadership to nurses, acting as an advisor regarding clinical issues and implementation of guidelines and standards, consistent approach to development of the role, working with the Head of Nursing to review service delivery, ensuring training and education provided meets the needs of nurses and reflects local and national objectives and providing orientation and induction for newly hired nurses.
You must be a registered nurse with current registration and a minimum of 5 years experience working as a nurse in a nursing home and! have a teaching and assessing qualification. You must have up! to date knowledge of the principles of elderly nursing home, skilled in recruitment, selection and retention of staff.
