First Choice Selection Services are recruiting for a full time, permanent Nurse Manager for a 26 bed private nursing home for dementia.
Main Duties/ Responsibilities
!
The nurse manager will be expected to run the home on a day to day basis and ensure that the continued viability of the home as a business, take charge of a competent team of nurses, care assistant and other auxiliary staff. To ensure that staff receive appropriate training, supervision, appraisal and support. Ensure the homes policies and procedures are adhered tom up to date and in line with best practice.
Essential Criteria
All applicants must meet the following criteria;
Be a first level nurse with a live NMC registration
Have at least 5 years post qualification nursing experience, 2 of which must be in a similar environment
Have management qualification or 2 years relevant managerial experience within the past 5 years
