Job Duties for Nursing Home Manager: * Responsible for the smooth running of the home and the general well being of clients and staff members * Supervision of staff, auditing of care plans and risk assessments * Undertake pre admission assessments for new residents to the home * Ensure that the home stays within its budget and that financial targets are met * Play an integral role in supporting the service users to maximise their independence and achieve their own personal goals The successful Nursing Home Manager must have: * The ideal Home Manager candidate must hold a ! current nursing qualification. * Previous Care Home Management! experience with in an elderly care environment * Proven clinical skills * Nurse Manager must be a Registered General Nurse (RGN) * Must have a strong understanding of care service and delivery within a nursing home * Possess RMA or LMC or be willing to work towards it
