AD: EPTdrug and alcohol service is a multi component addictions service based in the three establishments of the Northern Ireland Prison Service. AD: EPT drug and alcohol service aims to address the drug and alcohol issues of service users of all age groups through a variety of interventions including casework, group work and counselling.
We are currently seeking to recruit a Case Worker:
Position: 1 xCaseworker (Ref: CW/0813)
Salary: Pts 28 -31 (£23,945 - £26,539) plus environmental allowance
Hours: 37 hours per week
It is essential that candidates hold a minimum of Diploma level in Counselling and working towards BACP accreditation OR minimum Diploma in Social Work, Youth Work, Nursing, Teaching OR other relevant third level qualification. A minimum of 2 years post qualifying experience working with young people and adults with drug and alcohol misuse problems is also e! ssential. The successful applicants for all vacancies will be subject to an Access NI Check and Prison Clearance
A waiting list (valid for 6 months) will be drawn up from these interviews for any similar vacancies that may arise in the future.
All posts are 37 hours per week (unless otherwise stated) and may include evening work and occasional weekends, which will be paid on a TOIL basis.
All posts are dependent on continued funding.
