Qualifications / Experience
Essential requirements
Registered p! art 1 and 3 of the live NMC register
Excellent communication, record keeping and organisational skills
Ability to work under pressure and use own initiative
Ability to deliver a high standard of patient care
Experience in care of the elderly desirable but not essential
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate all forms of resident and patient care
Ensure that all residents and patients receive the care identified in the care plans
Give medication as prescribed with correct monitoring storing and disposal of medication as per NMC guidelines and company policy
Ensure nursing treatments and procedures are understood and carried out as per company policy and procedures
Liase with Residents, staff, GP’s and other multidisciplinary team members in order to promote good quality care
Observe and report on the conditions of the residents and patients maintaining their records accurately and legib! ly.

Develop, review and update care plans to meet the clients changing physical, social and psychological needs.
Communicate professionally and warmly with visitors including family, friends and other external stakeholders.
Comply with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines.
Ensure medicines are appropriately received, stored and administered to the clients.
Promote high standards of nursing care for you and your team, by ensuring all staff are supervised appropriately and the shift runs in a smo! oth efficient manner.
