The Role
Oasis currently have an exciting opportunity for a Dental Nurse to join our existing team within our Newry branch. The main aim of this role is to provide efficient and reliable chair-side support to practice clinicians and practice staff to ensure standards are met in line with CQC compliance and HTM-0105. At Oasis we pride ourselves on delivering customer excellence to patients. Our Dental Nurses are an essential part of the practice team and in all aspects of patient care.
Key Accountabilities
• To provide chair-side assistance
• Complete patient clinical records
• Develop and change radiographs solutions
• Comply with all practice health &safety
• Always ensure the care and welfare of patients in a friendly, helpful and courteous manner
• Keep the clinical areas and all equipment and instruments clean, tidy and steri! le as appropriate , according to the practice's health and saf! ety and infection control procedures and policy's / manufacturer's instructions
• Undergo training as may be required to develop your skills abilities
• Attend refresher and update training for medical emergencies, CPR cross infection
• Comply with all Health and Safety rules and guidance, including PPE, COSHH, Mercury handling, infection control and waste disposal
Skills and Experience
• Fully qualified Dental Nurse, with a minimum of 3 year's experience
• GDC Registered
• Reliable and flexible to meet the requirements of the practice
• Excellent communication & team working ability
• Understands & maintains for customer privacy and confidentiality at all times
• PC literate with a meticulous attention to detail
