Acting as an Employment Business, Kennedy Health & Social Care would like to invite applications for the position of a Band 5 Staff Nurse within the Education Sector in the Bangor area. This is an ongoing full time temporary role with an immediate start. Hours of work are Monday - Friday 8.30am - 2.00pm.
Skills required include:
- Setting up a medical room
- Ensuring students with allergies have access to their Epi Pens along with ensuring the storage safely
- Anaphylaxis Training
- Knowledge of Diabetes
- Basic wound management and dressing
- Treatment of minor medical emergencies (First Aid) - choking, burns, shocks etc
- Basic Life Support
- Flexible working hours
