Deputy Home Manager

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Deputy Manager!! I am recruiting for a Deputy Home Manager, for a client of mine who provide high quality nursing care to elderly residents with physical health conditions and dementia. Consisting of 80 beds, and possessing a warm, homely feel which coexists in a progressive and dynamic clinical environment.
Specific Duties Include:
- Assist with the assessment of Service Users needs and plans, deliver and evaluate individual care / support / treatment plans in consultation with Service Users, their relatives and the care Team.
- Conducts risk assessments
- Assists with staff scheduling to ensure adequate people are available to meet requirements.
- Supervises all activities and promotes high standards in all service aspects.
- Ensures all activities are carried out in accordance with policies, procedures and practices to meet Statutory, Regulatory, Audit, Compliance, Health & Safety and Security requirements.
- Participates in care, staff supervisions and reviews and supports staff to achieve their personal plan objectives. Assists with the induction and orientation of new care staff.
- Plans, arranges and attends meetings with staff, Service UserÂ's relatives as required.
- Participates in an on-call rota for the home.
- Assumes responsibility for all managerial and clinical leadership within Care Home in the absence of the Registered Manager.
