Overview of Deputy Manager role:
Our client is looking for a Deputy Manager to support the home manager in running their 80 bedded home. The home accommodates clients either on a long stay basis or for shorter respite period, providing palliative, Dementia, residential and nursing care.
Job Duties for the Deputy Manager:
• Maintain and monitor CQC/RQIA standards • Carrying out Risk assessments • Monitors Expenditure • Support the deputy with recruitment • Responsible for line management of staff • Hold regular staff meetings
Skills/Requirements for Nursing Home Unit Manager:
• NMC Registered Nurse - RGN or RMN qualified • 2 years experience working as a deputy manager within a similar setting • Strong leader with excellent interpersonal communication skills
